This little guy is FULL of surprises. First, we were surprised when we couldn’t get pregnant right away. (We didn’t have to wait long at all with any of the other boys.) We had started to wonder if our family was complete with three blonde little blessings. And just when we had begun to discuss selling our baby gear, the Lord surprised us with our fourth sweet baby. Perhaps the biggest surprise of all, though, was when Theo made his debut at 36 weeks (two weeks earlier than his earliest brother) and by announcing his introduction to the world with a “medium-sized gush” (as I explained to the nurse over the phone).
Meet our newest addition, Theodore (Theo) David.
He was born Saturday, October 15. Theo weighed 7 pounds, 9.3 ounces and measured 21 inches long. He has blonde hair (not a surprise!) and blue eyes.
“Theodore” means “Divine Gift” in Greek, and “David” means “Beloved” in Hebrew. His name fits him perfectly. 🙂
I am working on typing up his birth story, and I will post it as soon as it’s done. (It answers the question everyone’s been wondering… Did I have my bag packed? Ha-ha!) I’m only about 1/4 finished, though, because I’ve been doing a lot of snuggling with this little guy, and I just can’t take my eyes off him! We can’t wait to see what the Lord has planned for our little Theo.
